COLUMBIA TOWER CLUB’S THIRD ANNUAL MASQUERADE BALL TO BENEFIT MUSCULAR DYSTROPHY ASSOCIATION

SEATTLE, Wash., (Aug. 10, 2009) – The Columbia Tower Club, a ClubCorp property, will open its doors to the public on Oct. 24, 2009 at 8 p.m., for its Third Annual Masquerade Ball, benefitting the Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA) and ClubCorp’s Employee Partners Care Foundation.
For $45, party-goers will enjoy heavy appetizers, wine by Vine Vixens from Kestrel Vintners and a night full of entertainment, which will include Lori Larkin’s Jazz Band, Adam's DJ Service, tarot card reader John Skyrman, Magician, Brian Cook, and a masquerade costume fashion show. In addition, the club will host a silent auction for participants to bid on paintings, theater tickets, hotel stays, museum tickets and vacation options. Participants of the event are encouraged to attend in full Masquerade attire.

Attendees of this year’s event will receive a reduced room rate the night of the Ball at the Arctic Hotel when they mention “The Masquerade Ball” when making a reservation.  “A Masquerade” in Bellevue, Wash., also is offering discounted rates for Masquerade-themed costumes for the event.

Last year’s Masquerade Ball raised approximately $10,000. The Columbia Tower Club expects more than 250 guests to attend this year’s ball.
